The Sheridan community is a distinct area that ranges in age of homes as old as 50 years. Sheridan can be viewed as being separated into 3 main sections; Sherwood Forest, Sheridan Homelands, and Mississauga Road. The homes range in affordability with some of the most expensive being in the affluent and prestigious area of Mississauga Road were homes could be seen to be over 1 million. Other areas are affordable for families growing their families or in some cases for first time homebuyers.
Sheridan Homelands is geared towards families and creating a tight knit community. Sheridan Homelands is composed of young families and older residents who have lived in the area for years, creating a well rounded community. In comparison to the homes and families found in the Mississauga Road and Sherwood Forest areas. Due to how the community was designed, amenities are not for the most part walking distance, which requires those living in the area to drive to partake in any shopping or parks. For those that enjoy getting outside and being a part of nature, there are some parks to visit such as Thornlodge Park, Springbank Meadows Park as well as the Mississauga Golf and Country Club for those who enjoy hitting a ball or two.
